About
About Me
I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing companies, products and mentors. As I continue my path of design and entrepreneurial brand discovery I often find myself tapping back to the memories of my late nights at the office, all those thoughts of "Can I finish this in time?" and then embracing those moments where all that hard work had paid off with a beautifully crafted product. I've learned through those times of unrest, that with confidence and patience, I can and will achieve amazing things.
My mentor and former boss, designer Margot Elena, taught me that you must "Fight for Great Design." Good design does not come easily. You must work your way through the tiniest of details and be patient because the design will eventually emerge and when it does, it'll just feel right. "There’s always a tension that is unresolved–you have to be sensitive and have discipline to see design all the way through". I have found that patience, confidence and a great playlist are my go to tools in order to achieve this.
In the rare moments where I'm not behind the computer, you can often find me enjoying the gorgeous Colorado weather. I love being outside whether I'm skiing, hiking or playing a lazy game of frisbee. I also keep active in the city of Denver and serve as Co-chair/Incoming Chair on the Cherry Arts Young Professionals board of directors, Perspective.
I am currently, collaborating with schools and organizations in the Philippines, providing school supplies in an effort to combat the growth of illiteracy and unemployment. I've been fortunate to have had an amazing education, career and support system that my main mission is to take everything that I've learned and make a difference in this world.
